Modern web applications require technologies like clustering, load-balancing, and SAN storage; the kinds of technologies large enterprise sites use to stay online. When we couldn’t find anyone offering advanced technology like that at a reasonable price, we decided in our own stubbornness to figure out a way to do it ourselves.
